IMPARTIAL

I will follow the law as passed by the legislative branch.  I will not let personal bias affect judgment.  As a Chief Court Clerk I am already under the Judicial Cannons and provide service and information to the public without bias under the law.

EFFICIENT

Dispose of cases in a timely manner.  Allow the citizens of Denton County Pct. 2 access to the justice system within a short period of time.  Justice of the Peace Courts are the people's court and should provide prompt justice. Justice Delayed is not Justice!

EXPERIENCED

 I Understand the specific laws and rules that apply to Justice of the Peace Courts.  I have 22 years of direct daily experience in a Justice of the Peace Court as a court clerk. I have been a Chief Court Clerk for 9 years. I have had the opportunity to serve under six different Judges and have learned what processes and procedures are needed to provide timely and effective service to the public.  I have spent my career providing procedural and legal information to the self represented litigant.  As a Chief Court Clerk I work directly with the Judge to ensure we are operating a competent and efficient court.
