I am a lifetime resident of Denton County, specifically The Colony, TX. I obtained an Associates Degree from Collin College and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas Woman's University.
I have spent my 22 year career serving the Denton County residents specifically in the Justice of the Peace Courts. In 2000 I became a high school intern for Denton County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2. Once I graduated from high school in 2002 I was hired as a full time Court Clerk and later promoted to Senior Court Clerk for Justice of the Peace Pct. 2. I currently serve the citizens of Denton County as a Chief Court Clerk for Justice of the Peace Pct. 6 and have served in that court since 2010.
During my time as a court clerk I have obtained my Level 1 Justice Court Clerk Certification and my Masters Justice Court Clerk Certification. I have had the pleasure to serve under six different judges and have learned how to managed an efficient and effective court.
I am married to a fellow public servant who has served as a Peace Officer for the Denton County Sheriff's Office for 23 years. We have one son and are happy to call The Colony home. We are members of Frisco Church of Christ.
